Marlon Llana, shared insights through his talk “Bridging Disciplines through Nanotechnology: Research Opportunities for Sustainable and High-Impact Projects", contributing perspectives on nanotechnology’s role in enabling interdisciplinary and sustainability‑aligned research.

Failure Analysis Techniques with DOST‑ADMATEL

Water Analysis Techniques Training
Over two days, participants explored the fundamentals of water analysis techniques, covering water quality regulations, sampling and preservation, key water quality parameters and demonstrations of standard testing methods, with practical exercises and focused group discussions throughout the training.

Iloilo Scholastic Academy Senior High School Students
We welcomed senior high school students from Iloilo Scholastic Academy for a firsthand experience in nanotechnology and electron microscopy! They explored advanced instruments used in failure analysis and material characterization, including the SEM, AFM, XRF Analyzer, Thermal Analyzer and more.

Batangas State University Ceramics Engineering students
We welcomed Batangas State University Ceramics Engineering students! They gained insights into innovative tools and techniques for failure analysis, material characterization, and nanotechnology research, exploring instruments like the SEM, AFM, XRF Analyzer, and more, with some students even trying the Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) for a hands-on experience.

Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU) students
We welcomed students from Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU)! They explored the cutting-edge world of nanotechnology, failure analysis and material characterization, seeing advanced instruments in action, including the Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), Atomic Force Microscope (AFM), Simultaneous Thermogravimetric Analyzer (DSC-TGA), X-Ray Fluorescence Analyzer (XRF), and more.

Water Analysis Techniques Training
We wrapped up a 2-day intensive training on Water Analysis Techniques! Participants explored water quality monitoring, compliance with environmental standards, proper sampling and preservation techniques, and more. Participants also engaged in practical exercises on key parameters including pH, TSS, ammonia, nitrate, phosphate, surfactants, and microbiological analysis.

Senior High School Immersion at NASAT Labs
As part of their immersion program, Senior High School students conducted their culminating activity by presenting what they learned during their stay at NASAT Labs.

Good Laboratory Practice (GLP 101) Training
We wrapped up a training on Good Laboratory Practice (GLP 101)! Participants gain insights into how standardized practices and proper documentation protect data integrity and build confidence in laboratory results.

Philippine Semiconductor and Electronics Convention and Exhibition 2025
NASAT Labs participated in PSECE 2025. Engr. Marlon Llana delivered a technical talk on advanced surface analysis techniques for failure analysis, highlighting XPS, SEM/EDS, Auger, and Raman spectroscopy.

Philippine Chemistry Congress 2025
NASAT Labs took part in the Philippine Chemistry Congress 2025 alongside chemistry professionals from across the country. Engr. Marlon J. Llana shared insights on SEM‑EDX and key material characterization approaches.

International Nanotechnology Conference in the Philippines 2025
We're honored to be acknowledged as one of pioneering nanotechnology laboratory in the Philippines, as highlighted in the recent INCP 2025.

2-day SEM-EDX Training
Participants explored the principles behind electron beam interactions, sample preparation techniques, and how EDS/EDX enables elemental identification and mapping. The training also featured hands-on operation of the SEM-EDS, bringing concepts into practice.

Water Sampling for Drinking Water and Wastewater Training
We had a productive and insightful session where participants explored proper sampling techniques, preservation methods and quality control guidelines — essential for accurate water analysis in both drinking water and wastewater applications.

RoHS Training
Participants explored the requirements of RoHS and WEEE directives, acceptable methods of analysis, and gained insights into techniques like ICP-OES, GC-MS, and UV-Vis, featuring hands-on practice with XRF for RoHS screening, where participants tested their own samples.
