Water Analysis Techniques

Water Analysis Techniques (WAT101) provides a practical overview of the Clean Water Act and key DENR administrative orders related to water quality standards and approved testing methods. The course covers proper procedures for collecting, storing, transporting, and preserving water samples in line with Philippine regulations. Participants will also learn how to analyze wastewater parameters such as pH, dissolved oxygen, BOD, COD, color, TSS, oil and grease, phosphates, nitrates, and ammonia. The training highlights how these parameters interact and affect aquatic ecosystems.

Course Objectives

☑ Understand DENR regulations and approved methods for water quality analysis
☑ Apply proper sampling, storage, and preservation techniques for water samples
☑ Learn analytical procedures for key wastewater parameters
☑ Interpret results and understand parameter correlations and environmental impact
