Material Science and Engineering (MSE101) is designed to introduce participants—especially those in the semiconductor and electronics industry—to the fundamentals of material science and its practical applications. The course covers the structure, properties, and behavior of metals, polymers, ceramics, and composites, with a focus on how these materials are used in semiconductor devices and electronic components. Participants will gain essential knowledge they can apply directly to their work, including how material selection and processing affect performance and reliability.
