Good Laboratory Practice

Good Laboratory Practice (GLP101) is designed to provide participants with a foundational understanding of GLP principles and their impact on laboratory operations. The course explores the history and evolution of GLP regulations, offering a comprehensive review of the requirements for facilities engaged in regulated safety testing. Through this training, participants will gain insights into how GLP ensures data integrity, traceability, and compliance in scientific environments.

About the Speaker

The resource speaker is a part-time instructor at Management Department-Systems Technology Institute. She has handled lecture classes on General Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Total Quality Management, Strategic Management, and more. She is an external assessor for ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and has conducted on-site audit and assessment of chemical testing laboratories in compliance to ISO 17025 requirements. She was also a food drug regulation officer for the Food Drug Administration Philippines, a Chemist at National Food Authority, and a Quality Assurance Chemist at Asia Brewery. She has a bachelor's degree in Chemistry and a master’s degree in management, major in public administration.
