NASAT Labs had the opportunity of participating in UPLB Institute of Chemistry’s National Center of Excellence (NCOE) 42nd Celebration. As part of this milestone event, we hosted the 6th stop of Science and Technology on Wheels (STOW), bringing cutting-edge scientific equipment with us.

The event featured a series of interactive lectures and hands-on demonstrations on topics such as Nanotechnology, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Energy Dispersive X-Ray Spectroscopy (EDX), Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS), and more. Students engaged with state-of-the-art equipment and participated in fun quizzes, making the day both educational and exciting!

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the UPLB Institute of Chemistry and Sigmatech Inc. for the collaboration and support. We look forward to future opportunities to inspire and educate through innovative science and technology programs!

STOW goes to Cavite State University – Don Severino Delas Alas Campus for its 5th stop! Science and Technology on Wheels

Science and Technology on Wheels (STOW) goes to Cavite State University – Don Severino Delas Alas Campus!

On September 30, 2024, we had the opportunity to host the 5th stop of STOW (Science and Technology on Wheels) at Cavite State University-Don Severino Delas Alas Campus!

The highlight of the day was the thought-provoking lecture on metal 3D printing by esteemed scientist and CvSU high school alumnus himself, Dr. Clodualdo Aranas. Dr. Aranas is a DOST Balik Scientist, an Associate Professor and the Director of Alloy Design and Materials Testing Research Laboratory (AD-MTRL) at University of New Brunswick Canada (UNB). We also dived deep into groundbreaking topics such as Nanotechnology and Advanced Water Analysis Techniques.

Our hands-on demos featuring state-of-the-art equipment like the Scanning Electron Microscope, XRF Analyzer, Auto Titrator and Photosynthesis System sparked curiosity in students. The fun quizzes added an extra layer of excitement!

A big thank you to all the CvSU students and faculty who participated for the warm reception and enthusiastic engagement. Until our paths cross again, keep asking questions, exploring, and dreaming big, future scientists and engineers! 🔬🧪🤓
