NASAT Labs’ training on Restriction on Hazardous Substances (RoHS) was held on August 9, 2019 at NASAT Labs’ Muntinlupa laboratory.
The course provided an overview of the requirements of RoHS and WEEE directives as well as the acceptable methods of analysis, and discussions about ICP-OES, GC-MS, and UV-Vis. Participants were able to experience hands-on exercise of XRF, which is a current popular method for RoHS screening. Participants were encouraged to bring their own sample for testing.
The training was attented by practicioners in the field of Quality Assurance and screening of products against banned substances.
