Science and Technology on Wheels
Science and Technology on Wheels (STOW) is NASAT Labs’ outreach program that brings advanced scientific instruments and technical demonstrations to schools and communities. Through this initiative, we aim to share knowledge, spark interest, and provide hands-on exposure to tools used in various scientific and industrial applications.

STOW Experience
Our setup includes instruments such as the Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), X-Ray Fluorescence Analyzer (XRF), Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS), UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, Particle Size Analyzer, Portable Photosynthesis System, among others. These tools are used in many industries and research areas, and we provide live demonstrations to show how they work and what they’re used for. Students may also bring their own samples for testing, giving them a closer look at how these instruments are applied in real analytical work.
Interactive Learning in Action
Each STOW visit includes short lectures and interactive sessions where participants can learn about the cutting-edge instruments and their applications. We cover topics like nanotechnology, chemical analysis, materials testing, environmental monitoring, biotechnology, and much more. These sessions are designed to be engaging and informative, helping participants connect scientific concepts with practical applications in industry and research. By creating space for hands-on learning and open discussion, we aim to make science and technology more relatable and easier to understand—especially for students.
Supporting STEM Curiosity
STOW was created to give students and educators the opportunity to explore scientific instruments that are usually found in specialized labs. By bringing these tools to schools and communities, we hope to support learning, spark interest, and encourage exploration in science and technology.
