Empowering Minds, Enriching Futures: Nurturing STEM Excellence for a Better Philippines

At NASAT Labs, we are passionate advocates of STEM education, recognizing its crucial role in driving innovation and progress. Our commitment to advancing STEM education in the Philippines is reflected in our various community initiatives aiming to inspire and empower the next generation of scientists and engineers.

Through our program, Science and Technology on Wheels (STOW), we travel to schools across the nation, bringing with us a range of advanced scientific instruments. STOW features interactive demonstrations and hands-on experiences with cutting-edge equipment such as the Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), X-Ray Fluorescence Analyzer (XRF), Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS), Photosynthesis System, and more. By providing students with practical, real-world applications of science and technology, we aim to ignite curiosity and passion for discovery.

Our educational lab tours and immersion programs offer a unique opportunity for individuals to experience state-of-the-art scientific research up close. This foster a culture of curiosity and innovation, allowing participants to witness exciting possibilities that STEM fields offer.

Welcome to Science and Technology on Wheels (STOW)!

Introducing Science and Technology on Wheels

At NASAT Labs, we are dedicated to advancing STEM education in the Philippines through our innovative program, Science and Technology on Wheels (STOW). This initiative reflects our commitment to fostering scientific curiosity and empowering the next generation of scientists and engineers.

Science and Technology on Wheels travels to schools across the nation, bringing along a variety of advanced scientific instruments. Our program features interactive demonstrations and hands-on experiences with cutting-edge equipment such as the Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), X-Ray Fluorescence Analyzer (XRF), Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS), Portable Photosynthesis System, and more. By providing students with practical, real-world applications of science and technology, we aim to ignite their curiosity and passion for discovery.

A Mobile Hub of Scientific Exploration

We dive into engaging lectures on various advanced tools and techniques used in various applications including chemical analysis, metrology, failure analysis, research and development, nanotechnology, materials science, biotechnology, and more! Furthermore, we elevate the learning experience by bringing cutting-edge instruments for live demonstrations and hands-on, allowing students to interact with the latest technological advancements shaping the scientific landscape.

Inspiration Beyond the Classroom

Our journey started with a simple yet profound idea – enable students to interact with sophisticated scientific instruments that are typically reserved for specialized labs. Orchestrating these sessions in their own learning environment, we aim to inspire students and foster a culture of curiosity and innovation.

STEM Philippines NASAT LABS

NASAT Labs proudly celebrates the successful launch of our Science and Technology on Wheels (STOW) held at the University of the Philippines – Department of Mining, Metallurgical, and Materials Engineering (UP DMMME) on June 14, 2023. We extend our thanks to UP DMMME for the collaborative opportunity, making it a remarkable first stop of our STOW initiative.

When Science and Technology on Wheels (STOW) rolled into Philippine Science High School – Main Campus on their founding anniversary, we knew it would be a remarkable day! We engaged in thought-provoking discussions, nurtured new collaborations, and tested our knowledge with exciting quizzes. Learning has never been this much fun!

NASAT Labs’ Science and Technology on Wheels (STOW) rolled into Batangas State University – Pablo Borbon Campus! Students from diverse engineering programs, including Chemical, Food, Metallurgical, Ceramics, Petroleum, and the BS Chemistry program, came together to participate in this endeavor. From insightful lectures to live demonstrations and thought-provoking quizzes, we brought science education to life in a truly interactive way.

A day to remember as Science and Technology on Wheels (STOW) made its way to Technological University of the Philippines-Manila on April 8, 2024!
The program featured a deep dive into the world of science, highlighting the excitement of nanotechnology and latest scientific breakthroughs. Interactive sessions with cutting-edge instruments like the Scanning Electron Microscope, XRF Analyzer and Auto Titrator sparked curiosity of students. Check out the highlights from a day filled with innovation, learning, and smiles.

We had the opportunity to host the 5th stop of STOW (Science and Technology on Wheels) at Cavite State University-Don Severino Delas Alas Campus!

The highlight of the day was the thought-provoking lecture on metal 3D printing by the esteemed scientist, Dr. Clodualdo Aranas, a DOST Balik Scientist and CvSU high school alumnus. We also dived into groundbreaking topics such as Nanotechnology Trends and Tools, and Advanced Water Analysis Techniques.
NASAT Labs had the opportunity of participating in UPLB Insititute of Chemistry’s National Center of Excellence (NCOE) 42nd Celebration. As part of this milestone event, we hosted the 6th stop of Science and Technology on Wheels (STOW), bringing cutting-edge scientific equipment with us. The event featured a series of interactive lectures and hands-on demonstrations on topics such as Nanotechnology, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), and more. Students engaged with state-of-the-art equipment and participated in fun quizzes, making the day both educational and exciting!
