Empowering Minds, Enriching Futures: Nurturing STEM Excellence for a Better Philippines

At NASAT Labs, our commitment to advancing Science and Technology reflects our understanding of its vital role in shaping the society. This fuels our efforts to positively impact the community through various initiatives, including educational lab tours, collaborative projects, and our flagship program, Science and Technology on Wheels (STOW).

We are dedicated to empowering the next generation of scientists and engineers, enriching our communities. Our “Science and Technology on Wheels” program or STOW exemplifies this commitment, bringing advanced science and technology education and directly to schools across the nation. Through interactive demonstrations and engagement with state-of-the-art instruments such as the Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), XRF Analyzer, Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC), Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA), High-performance liquid chromatograph (HPLC) and more, we aim to ignite a passion for discovery in students of all ages. Additionally, our lab tours offer a unique opportunity for individuals to experience cutting-edge scientific research up close, fostering a culture of curiosity and innovation.

Welcome to Science and Technology on Wheels (STOW)!

Introducing Science and Technology on Wheels: Advanced Science & Technology Education at your Doorstep

We are proud to present STOW or “Science and Technology on Wheels”. This initiative is a testament to our commitment to fostering scientific curiosity and education. While we extend a warm invitation for all to visit our lab, we go the extra mile by bringing immersive science laboratory experience directly to school grounds.

Science and Technology on Wheels is a program of scientific exploration that goes to schools nationwide. Equipped with state-of-the-art analytical instruments and interactive learning resources, we aim to inspire future scientists, engineers, and innovators by demonstrating the practical applications of advanced scientific equipment.

A Mobile Hub of Scientific Exploration

We dive into engaging lectures on various advanced tools and techniques used in various applications including chemical analysis, metrology, failure analysis, research and development, nanotechnology, materials science, biotechnology, and more! Furthermore, we elevate the learning experience by bringing cutting-edge instruments such as the Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometer (XRF), High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC), Simultaneous Thermogravimetric Analyzer (STA), and more, for live demonstrations, providing students with a firsthand encounter with the latest technological marvels shaping the scientific landscape.

Inspiration Beyond the Classroom

Our journey started with a simple yet profound idea – enable students to interact with sophisticated scientific instruments that are typically reserved for specialized labs. Orchestrating these sessions in their own learning environment, we aim to inspire students on familiar ground.

Stay Tuned for Our Next Destination!

STEM Philippines NASAT LABS

NASAT Labs proudly celebrates the successful launch of our Science and Technology on Wheels (STOW) held at the University of the Philippines – Department of Mining, Metallurgical, and Materials Engineering (UP DMMME) on June 14, 2023. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to UP DMMME for the collaborative opportunity, making it a remarkable first stop of our STOW initiative.

When Science and Technology on Wheels (STOW) rolled into Philippine Science High School – Main Campus on their founding anniversary, we knew it would be a remarkable day! We engaged in thought-provoking discussions, nurtured new collaborations, and tested our knowledge with exciting quizzes. Learning has never been this much fun!

NASAT Labs’ Science and Technology on Wheels (STOW) rolled into Batangas State University – Pablo Borbon Campus! Students from diverse engineering programs, including Chemical, Food, Metallurgical, Ceramics, Petroleum, and the BS Chemistry program, came together to participate in this innovative endeavor. From insightful lectures to live demonstrations and thought-provoking quizzes, we brought science education to life in a truly interactive way.

A day to remember as Science and Technology on Wheels (STOW) made its way to Technological University of the Philippines-Manila on April 8, 2024!
The program was a deep dive into the world of science, highlighting the excitement of nanotechnology and latest scientific breakthroughs. Interactive sessions with cutting-edge instruments like the Scanning Electron Microscope, XRF Analyzer and Auto Titrator captivated the minds of students, sparking a fervent curiosity in the sciences. Check out the highlights from a day filled with innovation, learning, and smiles.
We had the opportunity to host the 5th stop of STOW (Science and Technology on Wheels) at Cavite State University-Don Severino Delas Alas Campus!

The highlight of the day was the thought-provoking lecture on metal 3D printing by the esteemed Dr. Clodualdo Aranas, a DOST Balik Scientist and CvSU high school alumnus. We also dived into groundbreaking topics such as Nanotechnology Trends and Tools, and Advanced Water Analysis Techniques.
